GUIDELINES FOR SELECTION OF PRINTS AND SLIDES FOR EXTERNAL COMPETITIONS, LEAGUE BATTLES AND EXHIBITIONS

The Competition Secretary will request and collect prints and slides from the members to use in outside competitions: will ensure that the selected entries are acceptable under the rules of the competition and that the opposing club(s) are informed of our entry and if at 'home' who the Judge will be: will confer with others to select a representative selection from the available work provided and see that the entry is delivered in time.

The Competition Secretary will see that a list of the entries selected is posted on the notice board and, where possible, will arrange for that selection to be shown to the club.

The Competition Secretary will advise the club of results of outside competitions.

Members are reminded that selection of work for outside competitions representing the club can only be made from the work submitted and are therefore requested to submit their best work for consideration when requested.

Competition Rules are amended in Committee. Suggestions for change and innovations should be made in writing to the Hon. Secretary. Any revision and application to the rules would normally apply to the following season's programme, unless it was considered expedient to be applied during the current year.
