All students of Poole Secondary Schools are eligible to enter.
Photographs, including any manipulation if applicable, must be the students own
work.
Photographs can be taken digitally or on film, black and white (mono) or colour,
machine or hand processed, as shot or manipulated.
Photographs may be submitted as prints, on disc or via email
If submitting prints they must be a maximum of A4 size and a minimum of 6 inches
(150mm) on one side.
The following information must be on the reverse of the print:
- Students Name
- Students School
- Photograph Title
- Where photograph was taken
If submitting your entry by email or on disc, this information must be
included in the email or on the disc
Photographs can be of any subject matter, but they must be taken in or around
Poole.
The maximum number of entries per student is 3.
Students who have won first prize in previous years may submit images for
judging, but they will not be eligible to win again.
Poole Camera Club will appoint a sub-committee to judge entries down to a
maximum total of 60 photographs for the final judging.
The final images will be judged by Stuart Culley of Robert White Photographic
Ltd. Stuart will award the prize to the entry that is, in his opinion, the best.
The judging will take place on Tuesday 2nd December at Poole Camera Club Moose
Hall Jolliffe Road Poole.
Students will be informed if their entry reaches the final judging stage.
Subject to the constraints of the hall capacity finalists are welcome to attend
the final judging with a parent or guardian if they wish.
Where possible, feedback will be given to entrants regarding their submissions.
Such feedback will be of a constructive nature, with the aim of helping the
entrant to improve and advance their skills.
Closing date is Monday 10th November
2008. Late
entries will not be admitted.

By prior telephone arrangement only, entries can also be delivered by hand to Poole Camera Club.
